As a high-performance imager, it not only captures 1D and 2D barcodes, but also complete images and documents, as well as Digimarc barcodes. These codes consist of a watermark barcode and are integrated in the packaging design – this eliminates the need to search for the barcode during the payment process and saves time. Read less

The Magellan 3550HSi confirms successful scans visually by LED, or acoustically via the built-in speaker. For optional connections, including additional handheld scanners, an RS-232 port is available, as well as a USB and a microSD card slot. Remote administration is also possible via OPOS, JavaPOS or Toshiba Remote Management. Robust stainless steel housing and the absence of moving parts ensure a long service life - which is additionally supported by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. An optional Customer Service Scanner (CSS) allows you to read digital discount stamps and vouchers directly from your smartphone - without having to take the device out of your hand.
