The corded Datalogic QuickScan QD2500 is a highly reliable omni-directional 2D imager for the POS in retail, hospitality, healthcare and light manufacturing. It is particularly well-suited for POS areas that have a higher need for 2D scanning and at the same time need to read mobile phone displays and customer cards. For more security after each scan, the QuickScan QD2500 features a clear scan feedback. It consists of a beeper with adjustable volume and Datalogic's patented »Green Spot« technology. Plus, the integrated Motionix motion-sensing technology ensures a smooth switch from presentation scan mode and manual reading, and vice versa.
The imager’s interface selection includes USB, USB-C, RS-232 and keyword wedge (KBW). With them, integration into existing POS systems is much easier, plus they offer nearly interference-free data transmission.
The dimensions of the QuickScan QD2500 are a compact 148 x 68 x 126 mm (W x H x D) with a weight of just 145 grams. This way, the imager fits comfortably in the hand and withstands a lot, thanks to its robust housing. Among other things, it is impact-resistant from a height of up to 1.5 m and protected against the ingress of dust and water in accordance with IP52 standards. Even operating temperatures of up to 50 °C or storage temperatures of -40 to 70 °C are no challenge for it.
Depending on the need, Datalogic offers the imager in black or white. Additionally, it may be expanded with various stands and other accessories.
